Reverend Mary T Maurey

Reverend Mary Maurey was ordained in 1986 from The Baltimore Spiritual Science Center (BSSC) by Reverend Sylvia Kalb.

 She was born in Washington DC. Her family moved to Clarksville, Maryland in 1950 and shortly afterwards opened the family business. Mary opened a business in 1985, That Design Place, LLC, specializing in Kitchen, Bath and Home remodeling.

Since 1980, Mary was involved in helping those in need in 12 step recovery programs. Mary officiates at weddings, funerals, memorial services, baptisms, house blessing and clearings.  She continues with assisting Rev. Robin Cushner with her Spiritual Science school, Planet Soul.

Healing, Intuitive Counseling & Tarot

Rev. George Bergman is an Usui and Kundalini Reiki Master Teacher and Practitioner, Intuitive Counselor, and Tarot Reader. He has been an intuitive counselor for forty years and has worked as a professional Tarot Reader at various venues on the East Coast for over thirty-five years. He offers classes in Usui Reiki, Reiki and Vibrational Healing sessions, and Intuitive and Tarot readings by appointment.

Reverend Kathleen Santora

Reverend Kathleen Santora was born and raised in New Jersey. She has been a practicing spiritual healer for forty years. She is a teacher of meditation and self-healing. Reverend Kathleen has two published books of prayers and songs channeled through her guide, SAKA. She now resides happily in the spiritualist community in Lilydale, New York.

Reverend Bill Teyssier, President

After completing a four-year intensive course of study at the Baltimore Spiritual Science Center, Rev. Bill graduated in 2001 and after completing the ministerial program, was ordained in 2002 by Reverend Sylvia Kalb.

Upon completion and ordination, Rev. Bill was a teacher at the Baltimore Spiritual Science Center, the Silentlight Correspondence school in Berkeley Springs, WV, and at his own correspondence school, The Maryland Spiritual Science Center. Since his ordination, Rev. Bill has officiated over 700 weddings as well as performing Baptisms and Funeral and Memorial services.

Rev Bill is a Master Mason in the Blue Lodge of Freemasonry as well as a 32nd degree Mason in the Scottish Rite.

Rev. Bill is a pipe organ tuner and tonal finisher and has been working on pipe organs since 1979. Some of the notable places includes the Basilica of the National Shrine and Washington National Cathedral, both in Washington, DC. He has worked with notable organists in the past such as Dr. Keith Chapman, former organist at Wanamakers in Philadelphia, Dr. Frederick Swan, Ted Allen Worth and Dr. Joyce Jones.

Rev. Bill is also an amateur paranormal investigator and has conducted research in the Maryland, DC and PA area. He recently conducted investigations in Gettysburg, PA and in Shepherdstown, WV with Brian Cano, a professional paranormal investigator, author and commentator on the Travel Channel’s Paranormal Caught on Camera.

Bill is also a Level III Reiki Master and teacher in the Usui and Holy Fire Reiki systems.

Reverend Steven Jarose, Secretary

Reverend Steven Jarose was ordained by Reverend Laura Smith at the Interfaith Chapel of the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, in 1984.

Assisting were the Reverends Mary Gemming, Alice Jenkinson and George Bergman. His interest in metaphysics began as a teen and continues as part of a lifelong journey. Steve’s guiding principles include reverence for all life, the unconditional acceptance of a loving Creator, and the capacity to bring about a peace-filled world, beginning with ourselves.

Following a career as a teacher and administrator of special education, Steve had a second career as the director of a nonprofit specializing in diversity, equity and inclusion, working with schools, universities, government agencies and neighborhood groups.

He and his husband of 35 years (Marvin) enjoy family, pets, gardening, the arts, and a love for people everywhere.

Steve is also committed to ending the climate crisis and creating welcoming, equitable environments for all. 

Reverend Thai Jason, Treasurer

Reverend Thai Jason was born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, attended the High School of Performing Arts, and received a BFA degree in Theater Arts from Boston University.

After 12 years in the theatre, she decided to end her vagabond lifestyle and joined a small music company that composed and recorded music for advertising. She retired from there after 27 years.

Reverend Jason studied Buddhist Research and Learning with Reverend Ellen Resch in New York City beginning in 1969 and was ordained as a minister of Spiritual Science in 1973 by Reverend Glenn Argoe.

She has travelled extensively from Iceland to Antarctica and from Paris to Tibet. She practices and teaches T’ai Chi, mostly to seniors.

Her life is now dedicated to taking care of herself so that she can help others. She has been blessed with much and now delights in giving back. Her mantra is a quote of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. “My religion is Kindness.”

Reverend Kermit Johns

Reverend Kermit Johns continues his ministry in Austin Texas. Through his chosen profession in personal finance, he employs his spiritual training, professional training, and life experience to guide his clients to practical and wise financial guidance and retirement advice.

His deep-seated guiding principles have led him through leadership roles with non-profit organizations that specialize in diversity and inclusion anywhere discrimination exists.

He received his spiritual training from Reverend Ellen Resch and was ordained into the Spiritual Science Church by Reverend Glenn Argoe in New York City. His professional education was at the University of Pittsburgh, Fordham University and Texas A&M University.

He is trained in Reiki, he speaks Spanish, Italian, spends time drawing in charcoal and loves to cook.  You will often find Kermit on a hike in a local park surrounded by dogs, his passion.
